The Sidings is located just a few miles away from York on the A19 Northbound. This quiet setting next to the East Coast Main Line offers a tranquil and idyllic setting for a romantic break, a family outing, a rail-enthusiast’s birthday party, or a business away day or conference. WiFi is available.

The Sidings has ample on-site parking and is easily accessible on main roads.

For those arriving by train, although the trains do not actually stop outside the Sidings (although it is lovely to watch them go by from the garden!), it is only a ten minute car or taxi ride from York or Poppleton station.

Pets At The Sidings

We love our furry friends and understand they are part of your family. However, to ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests, pets are not permitted within the hotel accommodations or dining areas, with the exception of guide dogs.

For those wishing to enjoy a drink accompanied by their four-legged friends, our bar area and outdoor beer garden are pet-friendly zones. We kindly ask that all visiting dogs are well-behaved and on a leash to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone.
