Where It All Began

Founded in 1985 by a former railwayman with a lifelong passion for trains, The Sidings Hotel and Restaurant is more than just a place to stay — it’s a celebration of Britain’s rich railway heritage. What started as a dream has grown into a truly unique venue built around five original Pullman-style railway carriages.

A Carriage Like No Other

Each carriage has been carefully restored and repurposed to offer an unforgettable experience.
Step aboard and you’ll find part of the train has been transformed into our iconic dining carriage, where tables of four sit trackside — offering diners a close-up view of passing trains.
