Voucher & Offers Terms & Conditions

These terms are here to make it easy to check what your voucher includes and when you can use it. If you are unsure which voucher you have, check the voucher title and the expiry date shown on it.

  • Voucher validity: New vouchers are usually valid for 12 months, and some are 24 months. The voucher expiry shown on the voucher is the one that applies.
  • Rooms: Vouchers are for standard rooms unless the voucher clearly states otherwise.
  • Booking: All voucher stays are subject to availability and must be booked in advance.
  • Non-cash value: Vouchers have no cash alternative and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.

    What’s included

    • Overnight stay for two in a standard double room.
    • 2-course evening meal from our set menu.
    • Full English breakfast for two.

    When you can use it

    • Valid Sunday to Thursday.
    • Subject to availability.
    • Any exclusions shown on the voucher still apply.

    Validity

    This voucher is valid for the period shown on the voucher (commonly 12 months). The expiry date printed on your voucher is the one that applies.

    Good to know

    • Vouchers are for standard rooms unless stated.
    • Meal and breakfast are part of the package and cannot be swapped for a cash value.

    If you purchased a discounted version (for example a Black Friday offer), the inclusions are the same as “Overnight Stay For Two” unless your voucher states otherwise.

  • Gift Voucher (monetary value, £20 to £180)

    Where you can use it

    • Food and drink in the restaurant and bar.
    • Overnight stays (subject to availability).
    • Special events and themed nights (including Greek nights), subject to availability.

    Validity

    Gift vouchers are typically valid for 24 months, unless your voucher shows a different expiry date. The expiry date printed on your voucher is the one that applies.

    Voucher rules

    • Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
    • If your spend is less than the voucher value, any remaining balance stays on the voucher until expiry (unless otherwise stated on your voucher).
    • If your spend is more than the voucher value, you can pay the difference using our usual payment methods.
    • Vouchers must be presented at the time of payment or check-in.
  • Older vouchers (meal credit vouchers and previous offers)

    This section applies to older vouchers that mention a meal credit amount (for example “£30 meal credit”). If your voucher mentions a set 2-course meal instead, use the “Overnight Stay For Two” section above.

    Meal credit rules (legacy vouchers)

    • Meal credit (for example £30) can be spent in the restaurant for food during your stay.
    • Meal credit cannot be saved, refunded, exchanged for cash, or converted to credit.
    • Meal credit expires at the end of your booking and cannot be transferred to another booking or person.
    • No change is given if the meal credit is not fully used.
    • Legacy vouchers were commonly valid for 12 months. The expiry date printed on your voucher applies.

    Legacy stay availability (typical rules)

    • Standard room only unless your voucher states otherwise.
    • Common arrival days were Sunday to Thursday (some older offers listed Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Sun). Your voucher wording applies.
    • Subject to availability and must be booked in advance.
  • General terms that apply to all vouchers
    • Expiry: Your voucher expiry date is shown on the voucher and is the rule that applies.
    • Availability: All bookings are subject to availability and must be booked in advance.
    • Standard rooms: Vouchers are for standard rooms unless the voucher clearly states otherwise.
    • Non-transferable: Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
    • Exclusions: If your voucher lists excluded dates (for example Valentine’s Day), those exclusions apply.
    • Lost vouchers: Please keep your voucher safe. If you think it has been lost, contact us and we will do our best to help.
    • Changes: We may update voucher terms for future sales, but your voucher is governed by the expiry date and wording shown on the voucher you purchased.
